-

-
- Yes, when the A2320 is disabled (via the switch on the back). It will
- just pass through the normal Amiga video.
-
- : However, I notice that the plug for the card is
- : a 9-pin, whereas the native video output plug is 23(?)-pin (although the
- : monitor side of the cable is a 9-pin).
-
- Actually, the A2320 should have a HDD15 connector. This is the same size
- and shape as a DB9, but has 15 pins. It is compatible with a standard
- VGA connector.
-
- : So basically, what can I do to get the A2320 up and running in my A2000?
-
- With a 1084S, it'll be pretty much useless, since the monitor can't
- display any of the card's deinterlaced output, just the disabled
- pass-through display, which is the same as leaving the 1084 connected to
- the Amiga video port. Having said that, there are pinouts for a standard
- VGA connector in the A4000 Hardware Guide (under Internals), and also for
- the 1084 (although the Guide on Aminet may not yet have the DB9 1084S
- connector).
-
- : Is it as simple as getting hold of a monitor cable with 9-pins on either
- : side (I live in a very simple world =^b)? Or do I have to start my
- : upgrades a little sooner than I had expected?
-
- A multisync or even plain VGA monitor would be useful with the 2320...
